Brantford campus students are able to apply to the Laurier University Residence in Brantford.

Homestay program
• Homestay is a program that matches international students with local host families to live with while studying at Conestoga.
Conestoga College partners with Canada Homestay Network Inc. (CHN) to administer Homestay program.

General Eligibility Criteria:
• Entrance scholarships are open to new students only (excluding 2nd Program and English to Post-secondary Scholarships)
• Students are eligible to receive one scholarship from each category:
A. Entrance Scholarship,
B. Regional Scholarship and
C. Priority Program Scholarship
• Applicants will be ranked based on highest academic average for the program they apply to
• Students must be registered full-time to be eligible
• Please note: to be considered for a scholarship you must pay both your deposit and full fees by the due dates specified in your Letter of Acceptance or on our website. If these payments are not made on time, your scholarship application will be rejected.
Entrance Scholarships
Degree Entrance Scholarship
$2,500 split over Year 1 and Year 2 of the program, awarded to students beginning studies in the Fall semester only. Applicants will be ranked based on highest academic average in their top six grade 12 courses including required subjects.
Degree Pathway Scholarship
$1,000 scholarship awarded to students beginning studies in an approved Conestoga pathway in the Fall semester only. Applicants will be ranked based on program admission requirements (highest academic average) unless otherwise stated.
Diploma Entrance Scholarship
$1,000 scholarship awarded each intake. Eligible applicants will be ranked based on program admission requirements (highest academic average).
English for Academic Studies to Post-Secondary Studies Scholarship
$1,000 scholarship awarded each intake. Eligible applicants will be ranked on highest academic average in Level 4 of Conestoga’s English for Academic Studies program.
2nd Program Scholarship
$1,000 scholarship awarded to students who have graduated from a previous Conestoga diploma, degree or graduate program (excludes certificate programs) and who apply to begin a second program within four months of completion. Students will be ranked on the highest academic average (GPA) from the previous program of study.
Regional Scholarships
• $1,000 scholarships available by region, awarded each intake (January, May, September)
• Eligible applicants will be ranked based on program admission requirements (highest academic average)
Priority Program Scholarships
• $1,000 awarded to new students enrolled in priority programs
• Eligible applicants will be ranked based on program admission requirements (highest academic average)
Student Awards
The CSI International Student Service Award
Four awards of $1,000 are available to international students at Conestoga College who are actively involved and volunteer with the International Education Department. This award will be given to one or two current international students. Recipients must have a minimum grade average of 75 per cent and demonstrate financial need. Recipients must also be actively involved and volunteer with the International Education Department.
The CSI International Academic Excellence Award
CSI is offering up to 10 awards of $500 available to international students at Conestoga College who are actively involved and volunteer with the International Education Department. Recipients must have a minimum grade average of 75 percent and demonstrate financial need. Recipients must also be actively involved and volunteer with the International Education Department.
